7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We retain different types of information for different periods based on their purpose and your ongoing use of our services:
Account Information: We keep your account information for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period for account recovery or to comply with legal obligations.
Device and Sensor Data: We retain your device and sensor data for as long as you actively use our services. You can delete specific data through your dashboard or request bulk deletion by contacting us.
Usage and Technical Data: Website logs and technical data are typically retained for 12-24 months for security and service improvement purposes.
Backup Data: Some data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion for disaster recovery purposes.
Legal Retention: We may retain certain information longer when required by law (such as tax records or for compliance investigations).
When you close your account or request data deletion, we will delete your data according to the timelines above, except where we have legal obligations to retain it. Your device and sensor data belongs to you, and we provide tools for you to export or delete it at any time.
8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

11. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
